Welcome at the web presentation of the results of research project “Compensation of negative climate change impacts on water supply and ecosystems using the localities for potential accumulation of surface water”, investigated by the T. G. Masaryk Water Research Institute in cooperation with the Czech University of Life Sciences. The main objective of the proposed project is to provide a more accurate data basis for 1) the General Plan of protected localities for surface water accumulation, and 2) for the third round of the River Basin Management Plans update.

Specialized maps

The set of specialized maps provides basic information about the localities for accumulation of surface water. Apart from reservoir location and storage, characteristics of the reservoirs for the current climate and for climate change conditions are available.
